A story about Ani and Budi

This is not the usual story you ever read or listen. Something impossible, become possible.

It was starting from a sweltering morning in a capital city. Ani was a student who will be studying on campus one full day. It is unusual for a health&medicine student. She was just an ordinary woman, with ordinary intelligence, and as a woman in general at that age, Ani already has a boyfriend. It's not something special, is it? I told you, this story is different from the usual stories you read, where the main character is the one who stands out, both in terms of good and bad. This story was different. All the things she done were common things. Every morning she went to the campus, with 8-10 credits every day, and then go home to do chores. If she would come home early, she spend her time with her boyfriend.

But that day there was something different. Say, there's a friend named Cipto. When Ani was walking in one of the college buildings, there was a man interested in her, was sitting with his friends in a small dining area on the edge of the college building. He was immediately called someone whom he recognized, incidentally was his junior in high school, and with very coincidentally, he was in the same class with Ani. That man is Cipto, yup, Ani’s friend. Incidentally indeed, but nothing is impossible. At that time he was asked for Ani’s phone number, and he got it.




Time passed. A text message came to Ani’s phone a few hours later. He was introduced himself as Budi. He was that man. Ani who didn’t know about what she had to say, finally stating that she already had a boyfriend and didn’t want him to get any closer to that time. Since then, no more messages received from Budi.

This story is not finished yet.

For some reason, Ani and her boyfriend was broken up. The news was circulated throughout the world via social media. This news goes into every TV news, infotainment, news sites on the internet, etc. Community was excited about that news.

Ani also hope so, but in reality she was just an ordinary person, and people who know that news was just a few people, including Budi. The communication was re-established. But it’s not the same as what you are thinking about. Communication that exists only in moderate communication. No special response. Budi is a stranger to Ani. But this communication has been running better than ever. Who would have thought? Ani had never met directly with Budi. And their first meeting occurred in a city that is quite far from the city, the city where Ani parents lived. Incidentally Ani was there when Budi visited his family there. And their meetings can be called as a coincidence. They met at a famous bookstore in the city. Since then, Ani and Budi met several times, swapped motors, visited each other and all well went. Even when a major disaster occured in the city, just Budi who stood beside Ani. Ani and Budi relationships closer by the day.

A year later, Ani has a boyfriend. With Budi? No, unfortunately with someone who has a same hobby with her. Do not ask why, because I had to create a new post along 50 paragraphs to explain why it could be happen. Caused by a reason, Ani dated someone, say, Eko. However, the relationship didn’t last long, less than a quarter. But this relationship makes Budi away, even disappeared. Anyone would be hurt by it. After broken up with Eko, ani tried not to approach anyone for a while. She began to concern ourselves with off-campus activities, she even became the most rare person on campus. She followed some communities, take some side jobs, until he became like a ghost who does not have time for herself.

Budi sent a message to Ani again.

Ani and Budi relationship was improved. When Ani entered a period of service in a remote village, Budi comes brought a warm blanket for Ani. What’s in my mind must be the same with your mind. Budi is very kind and persistent. He never give up, even though Ani didn’t give any signal. And who would have thought, Ani was thinking the same thing. But she was puzzled, why there was no feeling that grew between her and Budi at that time?

Budi did a lot of things for Ani, Ani find it impossible to forget the things that she got from Budi. Piece of paper that Budi left under Ani’s motor seat, the writing is too good, in my opinion, to written by a man, Ani kept it well. So did Budi. Ani’s entire message sent to Budi, he kept it very well.

Later, Budi graduated. Yup, she felt lonely after that. Moreover Budi went to different islands, far far away from there. One month, two months, Ani still didn’t feel lost. But after months, Ani was moved to send a short message that asked about Budi’s condition. Good pushes. Why did not she just said that she missed Budi? Budi then reply. Then communication was re-established between them for the umpteenth time. But this was different from the former communications. There was a feeling in their every conversation. On Ani’s anniversary, Budi send a picture message. In this picture, there are waffles, ice cream, and greeting cards. Budi celebrated her birthday in different cities. This makes Annie feel special.

Their relationship was getting better. When Ani returned to her parents home, in a city which was not far from the city where Budi work, they were met. But not both. Budi apparently invited to accompany Ani’s sister who wants to watch cartoons on a large cinema, in the front line. At that time, incidentaly he met with her parents, and that was the beginning of a new relationship Ani and Budi. Their relationship becomes increasingly better. Until at its peak, one night in August, Budi invited Ani for a dinner at a hotel in the city. The first candle light dinner for Ani. At that time, their relationship became a special relationship. They are not friends anymore, but Ani's boyfriend. A song played, and that song will always be their song, about one step closer.

Until now, they are still together, trying to unify their mind. They found greater comfort in between. They like different shoes that become a pair of shoes.

Did I mention too much of coincidence? It's a lot of coincidences in this story. The Director that makes these shocks. Indeed, there is nothing impossible, but it all will become possible when we think it might happen.
